Online courses boost web ministry

Take the entire population of the United States and combine it with the population of India. That’s just about how many people use the Internet — 1.6 billion, give or take a few web masters.
If you’ve been wondering how to reach some of these men and women with a web ministry or tweak the web presence you already have, tap into the Web Ministry Training Course offered by United Methodist Communications.
The four online courses will help you set an action plan for your web ministry, identify your users, learn the nuts and bolts for your site, find software and develop content and graphics for an efficient and effective website. The course is from July 5 to Aug. 15. Registration is open through June 28.
