Reminder ...
The Michigan Area Episcopacy Committee has arranged events to welcome Bishop Kiesey to the state.There are two more venues ahead:
- Saturday, Oct. 20 - Indian River UMC - 3:00 p.m.;
- Sunday, Oct. 21 - Clarkston UMC - 3:00 p.m.
A worship service will take place at each church, with Bishop Kiesey preaching. A reception will immediately follow each service, providing the opportunity to meet and greet her.
Bishop Deborah Lieder Kiesey began serving the Michigan Area (Detroit and West Conferences) September 1, 2012. This is her second assignment since being consecrated to the episcopacy in 2004. She served eight years in the Dakotas Area prior to her reassignment by the North Central Jurisdictional Conference meeting in Akron, OH in July.
