Michigan Response Team heads east
11/30/2012

VOLUNTEER
Michigan Area Disaster Response is deploying an Early Response Team (ERT) to the east coast the week of December 26-30. The team will depart on Dec. 26, work for three days onsite (yet to be determined) and return home on Dec. 30.
If you are interested and available, please contact Bob Freysinger via email millvillepastor@yahoo.com. If you participated in the training on Nov. 10, you are cleared to go, and should have your badge prior to leaving.
A couple of protocols to remember...
- only those currently badged and credentialed by UMCOR will be allowed to participate. If your badge has expired, contact Jeremy Wicks (details below) immediately!
- ERT's are responsible for their own expenses.
- DO NOT bring chainsaws unless you are S212 certified - they will not be allowed on the conference trailer, nor will you be allowed to use it on site.
- Remember to pack your own personal protection equipment, including cold weather gear.
