About Us
The purpose of the West Michigan Conference of The United Methodist Church is to create Disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
We proudly represents six Districts with 400 churches and approximately 60,000+ members throughout the state. Our Conference boundaries run approximately from the Indiana state border to the northern tip of the lower peninsula and from US-127, through the center of the state, to Lake Michigan. The West Michigan Conference Center is located in Grand Rapids and our Episcopal Office is located in Okemos. We look forward to serving you!
